Cargotec's MacGREGOR business area providing marine cargo handling solutions has signed a three-year service agreement with Italian Grimaldi Group. According to the agreement MacGREGOR takes full responsibility for the maintenance of selected cargo handling equipment on 26 Grimaldi RoRo ships. The contract scope is the highest level of MacGREGOR's Onboard Care service concept, Total Onboard Care. The value of the contract is approximately EUR 5 million.
MacGREGOR and Grimaldi Group have cooperated for years in services as well as in new equipment. This present service agreement ensures proactive maintenance in Grimaldi's ships and their uninterrupted operation.
