Cargotec has secured MacGregor cargo handling crane orders worth more than EUR 80 million

In August Cargotec confirmed contracts for 275 MacGregor cargo handling cranes with a total value of more than EUR 80 million. The cranes are destined for 72 ships on order at various shipyards in China and South Korea, comprising 64 bulk carriers and eight general cargo vessels.

Nilsson, sales and marketing director for cargo handling cranes at Cargotec. "We have increased our market share in the important Asian market, especially being successful in the bulk carrier segment" he continues.
Cranes will be manufactured at Cargotec partner plants in China and South Korea and delivered 2011 and 2012.
