MacGREGOR wins cargo access contracts for Korean-built car carriers and RoRosNew deep sea RoRos and pure car/truck carriers being built in Korea will feature cargo access equipment from MacGREGORThe MacGREGOR Group RoRo division part of the Cargotec Corporation has won contracts to supply cargo access equipment for 15 vessels being built at Hyundai Mipo shipyard in Korea. Five of the vessels are 3,500-unit deep sea RoRos for Grimaldi, six are 3,500-unit pure car/ truck carriers (PCTCs) for Neptun Lines and four are 3,500-unit PCTCs for Vroon B.V. MacGREGOR contracts include the delivery of the design and hardware for the RoRo equipment and the design and key components for the hoistable car decks, with an option for the fabrication of the car decks. Equipment is scheduled for delivery between 2008 and 2010.
