MacGREGOR catering systems serve trio from SamsungAs well as comprehensive packages of RoRo access equipment, Norfolkline three 34,500gt passenger/vehicle ferries under construction at Samsung Heavy Industries will feature MacGREGOR provisions stores and galleys An option for a third 34,500gt RoPax ferry from Samsung Heavy Industries has been exercised by Norfolkline. Like the pair of the same class already booked at the South Korean yard, the vessel will be equipped with a RoRo cargo access/transfer outfit and a catering system from MacGREGOR. A contract awarded to MacGREGOR Passenger Ship division requires the design and supply of 690m2 of catering areas and equipment, 14 cold and dry stores (160m2), and over 600 items of equipment and shelving for various areas. The order also calls for supervision and technical assistance at the start of installation. Facilities are spread over nine decks of the ship, deck 6 housing the finishing galley, scullery, buffet restaurant, lounge bar and fast food buffet. Pantries connected to each catering point will ensure an efficient service. The main hot galley is located on deck 7 along with the bistro buffet counter and pantry, the business lounge and trucker restaurant.
