MacGREGOR wins major offshore winch orders in ChinaA number of offshore vessels under construction in China for French operator Bourbon have been specified with MacGREGOR anchor-handling and mooring winchesIn July, the MacGREGOR Group part of the Cargotec Corporation won offshore deck machinery orders for 32 different offshore supply vessels being built at Yangzhou Dayang Shipyard in China for French ship owner Bourbon. The contract is worth approximately u201a15.5 million and equipment will be delivered between 2008 and 2010. MacGREGOR will supply both anchor-handling and mooring winches to the vessels with pull power capacity between 100 tonnes and 150 tonnes. The offshore deck machinery will be manufactured by MacGREGOR Plimsoll in Singapore, which is part of the MacGREGOR Offshore division.
