Cargotec's MacGREGOR business area providing marine cargo handling solutions has received a further order to supply hatch covers for 17 container ships that are under construction for several ship owners at the Korean shipyard Hyundai Mipo. The ships will be delivered during 2008 - 2009. The value of the order is approximately USD 23 million. The current order is continuation to the hatch cover order received from the same shipyard in March to 27 container ships.
The capacity of the ships ranges from 1,800 TEU to 4,500 TEU.
The hatch covers will be manufactured at MacGREGOR's Chinese partner plants.
